Greeley House (Chappaqua, New York)


Greeley House is a historic home located at Chappaqua, Westchester County, New York. It was built about 1820 and served as the home of Horace Greeley (1811 – 1872) from 1864 to 1872. It was originally a typical small farmhouse, but expanded to five bays in the mid-19th century. It features a full-width verandah, topped by a railed in, unroofed balcony, and decorative door frames and cornices over the windows. Go to the map ⬆⬆
