Benjamin Franklin Butler fue un político de Estados Unidos, legislador por Massachusetts y gobernador del mismo estado. Butler nació en Deerfield, New Hampshire, hijo del Capitán veterano de guerra John Butler. Se graduó en derecho en 1838 en Waterville College en Maine, y fue admitido en la Barra de Abogados de Massachusetts en 1840. Ingresó al Partido Demócrata de Estados Unidos y tomó parte en la legislatura de la Cámara de Representantes en 1853, y del Senado en 1859. Go to the map ⬆⬆
